Trip to Service NSW in Tweed Heads

Yesterday, my wife and I made a trip to Tweed Heads because I needed my international driver´s license to be converted to a NSW license. Their office is located in the Tweed Mall Shopping Centre, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all the team at Service NSW.

Thinking back to my experiences I made back in Munich, Bavaria, I could not say that I made that great experiences – but this is a different topic. Also, my main point to write this post is actually to write about the drive back from Tweed Heads to Ocean Shores.

Tweed Heads is not only the northernmost city of the Northern Rivers region but of the whole state of New South Wales (NSW)!

Just around Cabarita Beach going to Pottsville you can see how the landscape changes, and you have a much more lush vegetation. It is an absolute privilege to live in this beautiful region, and I am very grateful for this.

I had already written about some of my cycling adventures across the Northern Rivers region in the past months but will also write about new trips to Kyogle, Woodenbong (a guy in Grafton had told me about the Summerland Highway), and maybe even to Queensland, taking the route from Chillingham via Numinbah up north taking the State Route 97 to Nerang.
